The Irresponsibility of nigger spending!
These are tough economic times, especially for African-Americans, for whom the unemployment rate is more than 10%. Alarmingly, rather than belt-tightening, the response has been to spend more.
In many poor neighborhoods, one is likely to notice satellite dishes and expensive new cars.
According to Target Market, a company that tracks black consumer spending, blacks spend a significant amount of their income on depreciable products. In 2002, the year the economy nose-dived, we spent $22.9 billion on clothes, $3.2 billion on electronics and $11.6 billion on furniture to put into homes that, in many cases, were rented.
Among our favorite purchases are cars and liquor. Blacks make up only 12% of the U.S. population, yet account for 30% of the country's Scotch consumption. Detroit, which is 80% black, is the world's No. 1 market for Cognac. So impressed was Lincoln with the $46.7 billion that blacks spent on cars that the automaker commissioned Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, the entertainment and fashion mogul, to design a limited-edition Navigator replete with six plasma screens, three DVD players and a Sony PlayStation 2.
The only area where blacks seem to be cutting back on spending is books; total purchases have gone from a high of $356 million in 2000 to $303 million in 2002.
This shortsighted behavior, motivated by a desire for instant gratification and social acceptance, comes at the expense of our future.
The National Urban League's "State of Black America 2004" report found that fewer than 50% of black families owned their homes compared with more than 70% of whites.
According to published reports, the Ariel Mutual Funds/Charles Schwab 2003 Black Investor Survey found that when comparing households where blacks and whites had roughly the same household incomes, whites saved nearly 20% more each month for retirement, and 30% of African-Americans earning $100,000 a year had less than $5,000 in retirement savings. While 79% of whites invest in the stock market, only 61% of African-Americans do.
Certainly, higher rates of unemployment, income disparity and credit discrimination are financial impediments to the economic vitality of blacks, but so are our consumer tastes.
By finding the courage to change our spending habits, we might be surprised at how far the $631 billion we now earn might take us.

We, the Evil, Ruthless and Uncaring People Part 1
It’s amazing how angry people get when you question government programs and regulations. Usually, they do not backup their undying faith in government. They simply use obscenities. What causes this devotion? I simply don’t get it. Government’s consistently lie to us. They only pretend they are going to keep their word during elections, and then after they are elected, they break almost every promise they make. They even have the nerve to laugh about it. Remember Nancy Pelosi and her “A lot of promises are made on the campaign trail. Hahahahaha” What? This is what inspires complete, unquestioning devotion to government?
Liberals constantly tell us about the selfishness of their fellowmen. We are supposed to believe that neighbors would sit idly by watching their neighbor starving to death, so the government in all it’s compassion must steal everyone’s money to make sure that doesn’t happen. We are told that without the government, it would be complete chaos. People would be killing each other in the streets. Without regulation, companies would be killing their customers with poisons and crappy products. Without welfare, people would sleep in the streets dying beneath our feet as we all just walk by not caring. Charity is fine, but there just isn’t enough caring people to donate enough to take care of the poor. Doctors aren’t compassionate enough to provide low cost or free services to the poor. Basically, we are all just a bunch of barbarians, and luckily for us the government keeps us civilized.
Really?
Were we really worse off when we had less government? Were people less friendly and compassionate 100 years ago when government was smaller? Were families and neighbors further apart than they are now? Did charities and foundations not get enough donations to create library systems, universities, and the like? Were people killing each other left and right? Were companies killing people with poisons and death contraptions? These are all just scare tactics to make us beg for more government. We are told we need government to protect us from each other. In order to protect us, we surrender our rights to the government. We grant them the sole right to use force against us. We allow the government to steal, kill and harass us.
All these claims are no different than the neocons’ claims that we need to be deathly afraid of arabs and communists. This too is just to scare us and have us begging for more government. There is no way Muslims could conquer a free people such as those in the United States. The Soviet Union couldn’t have conquered the US even if all the dominoes fell. As long as a people have the right to bear arms and value freedom, they will remain free. I’d love to see a country try to invade the US with 200 million civilian guns and another 100 million professional arms in use. The only way this is possible is if our own government takes our guns from us. Of course, if they do that, then they’d really claim only they can protect us.
So what is the truth then? The truth is the government lies, cheats and steals to get more power. It could care less about protecting or providing for us. It is constantly looking for angles to exploit. Then it creates massive media campaigns to convince everyone they are in danger and the government alone is the only one who can fix the problem. How do they propose to fix the problem? Do they really have anything to offer? No, of course not. We all know the government produces nothing. It’s no different than the mob. The mob didn’t produce anything. It just stole production from others, and then redistributed it. It takes resources at the point of a gun, and then uses it to purchase more power for itself. Then the government and all their sycophants tell us they are doing it to protect us.
Can someone tell me why we are supposedly a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, but then we are told the people are too uncaring, ruthless and selfish? We are supposed to believe that in general the people won’t take care of their friends, families and neighbors, because they are too selfish. The people would exploit each other. They would kill each other and steal from each other. But then we are told we are governed by the people through democracy. How can we trust this democracy if the people are so evil to begin with? How can we trust our elected officials if they are us, and they are also selfish, uncaring, ruthless people.
The government is more like an abusive spouse who tells their victims they are just keeping them in line. Without them, the victim would have nothing. They couldn’t fend for themselves. The abusive spouse is really protecting them. As citizens we collectively buy into the abuse. “Yes, I know he/she beats me, but I really deserve it. I was wrong.”
Really? Wake up already. The government needs us. We don’t need the government. The government needs us so they can siphon money and production from the producers in society to fill the pockets of a select few. Does TARP and bailouts ring a bell? In order to not be so obvious about it, they buy off the poor in society. They expand the number of poor through ever increasing entitlements in order enslave enough of us, so that they always have a big enough voting block to get more power. Like the abusive spouse, they tell those who get entitlements that only they will provide for them. They’d have nothing without the government. Their fellow man would neither offer them a job or a meal.
So, I can hear it now. The defenders of big government immediately say businesses and the powerful would run roughshod over all of us in order to gain more power and wealth. Hmmm, I hate to say it, but that sounds very close to what government does. Let’s just take a few of these “government is good” claims and see if they really add up.

Political Correctness, The Awful Truth.
Have you ever stopped to wonder why 40% of people don't bother to vote anymore? Have you ever stopped to wonder why, which ever party is in power, nothing ever gets any better? Have you ever stopped to wonder why all the three major political parties in the UK have broadly the same policies? The answer is simple - political correctness. This left wing ideology has very cleverly, and by stealth, replaced British politics. The PC Brigade effectively hold a gun to the head of political parties - none of the main parties now dare suggest any policy that is not politically correct otherwise the PC Brigade will label them the 'nasty' party. Witness the Conservative party policy U turns. In a desperate effort to lose their 'nasty' party label they have become Blue Labour, a slightly diluted form of New Labour!
So we now have the three main parties all occupying the same small piece of 'centre ground'. Many people don't vote on the grounds that it is pointless - you will get the same whoever wins. Some people don't vote because they realise that politically correct policies are what has got us into this mess in the first place.
Other people don't vote because they realise that career politicians are a self seeking, corrupt bunch of freeloaders who they wouldn't trust to run their whelk stall while they were on holiday. Notice that I say career politicians - this is the new breed of politicians that haven't ever entered the real world of work. They have left school, gone to university and then blagged a job as a 'research assistant' to a MP before realising that with most of our laws now made abroad, the job was such a well paid doddle that they could do it themselves. They have never had to hold down a proper job, they have no management or other skills, hold no real political views and tend to migrate to whichever party looks most likely to win power. To survive in this fantasy environment all you need to do is to be politically correct. So what is political correctness, how did it start and how did it become so successful? Political correctness is first and foremost an attack on free speech, clear thinking and discussion. Political correctness is perpetrated by the left in politics as a cover for their flawed ideology - a sort of cultural Marxism. By cloaking their strange ideas under the cover of not wishing to offend anyone (which naturally appeals to peoples' better nature), they try to bypass debate and give a 'received wisdom' which must not be questioned. And anyone who disagrees with this 'received wisdom' must therefore be a really nasty person and deserves to be ostracised by their peers. This peer pressure is instrumental in enforcing and expanding political correctness.
For example, if you question whether unfettered immigration into this country is necessarily a good thing or perhaps whether immigrants should be health checked, then you must be a nasty bigoted 'Little Englander'. Come on everyone - shout him down with cries of 'racist'. Of course, only the hard of thinking could be drawn into this charade - anyone with an ounce of common sense can see right through it.
So how did it all start? Political Correctness started in a think tank (called The Frankfurt School) in Germany in 1923. The purpose was to find a solution to the biggest problem facing the implementers of communism in Russia. Why wasn't the wonderful idea of communism spreading? The Frankfurt school recommended (amongst other things):
1. the creation of racism offences 2. continual change to create confusion 3. the teaching of sex and homosexuality to children 4. the undermining of schools and teachers' authority 5. huge immigration to destroy national identity 6. the promotion of excessive drinking 7. emptying the churches 8. an unreliable legal system with bias against the victim of crime 9. dependency on the state or state benefits 10. control and dumbing down of media 11. encouraging the breakdown of the family
Sound all too familiar? Yes - Great Britain 1997 onwards......
The basic idea is to make the country wholly dependent on the State. By the dumbing down of education, the creation of huge state sector employment and large scale immigration, New Labour has effectively created a captive audience to vote for them or Blue Labour, should the Conservatives actually get back into power.
If the Conservatives did get back into power, nothing much would change. David Cameron has already shown his true politically correct credentials many times but none so shamelessly as when he sacked the well respected Patrick Mercer, just for speaking the truth. Patrick Mercer wasn't being a racist, he was just commenting on how in Army life you get picked on if you have some different feature whether it is black skin, ginger hair, being fat or just lazy. My Father did me a great service many years ago when pointed out that 'sticks & stones would break my bones but names would never hurt me'. Thanks for instilling some common sense in me, Dad!
But of course, political correctness has made common sense a thing of the past. If you catch a burglar in your house then it's probably best to help the poor soul by carrying your possessions to the front door lest he should trip up and hurt himself and it's you that end up in court!
After all, you won't get much help from the Police, who have been effectively neutralised by the fast tracking of university graduates whose only experience of life has been obtained in the liberal atmosphere of education. Probably best not to complain to them about their lack of attendance when your car has been vandalised or you will probably get a letter back from a Superintendent pointing out that vandals are victims as well (read it here). And just in case any real policemen still exist, the Politically Correct Brigade has turned the Police Force in on itself by claims of institutional racism.
If they do actually succeed in getting a villain into court (only 1 for every 100 crimes committed) then the Magistrates hand out such lenient sentences (as laid down by the very Politically Correct 'sentencing advisory panel') that there is no deterrent. If you do end up in prison (extremely unlikely as New Labour have deliberately refused to build anything like enough new places) the prison officers are told to call you by your first name and not say anything that may upset you! As your cell is now your home, you are allowed to smoke there but Prison Officers who want to search it for drugs now have to give you 30 mins notice of their visit so that they don't put themselves at risk from the smoke oh and also to give you enough time to move your drugs elsewhere. Just in case you do get bored, you can keep yourself amused by repeatedly taking the prison governor to court over trivial matters that you think violate your human rights (no pornography etc) - all paid for by legal aid!
Travellers can descend upon your area, dump old cars and shit everywhere with impunity. You try doing it in your front garden and see what happens! They are allowed to bypass the normal planning controls that are so strictly enforced on the rest of us and cost local councils hundreds of thousands of pounds in court cases and clean-ups. Who pays? Why you do of course - just check your council tax bill!
Illegal immigrants (if caught) are rarely deported. Those that are deported are just the more honest ones who don't know how to play the system or haven't been coached by the National Coalition of Anti-Deportation Campaigns which is funded by your lottery money! Oh and have you got a long way to come to get here? Why not hijack an airliner for the trip? Don't worry, we will still let you stay!
Would you like a black coffee? NO! You can't say that! It's coffee without milk and Local Authorities spend a fortune of our money on making their employees attend courses on Newspeak and Diversity training!
Our British humour has suffered badly. We can't tell jokes anymore in case it's considered racist or it upsets anyone. Don't these Politically Correct people realise that the clue is in the word "joke",which my dictionary quite rightly defines as "something said in fun or jest" or "to say something in fun or teasing rather than in earnest?"
Try organising an event or trip and you find yourself tied up in the endless red tape created by the Health & Safety Executive. These people are all part of the 'Nanny State' (state control) which insists in sticking its nose into every aspect of our lives and telling us how to live it!
Just in case there is anyone left in the country that might still be enjoying themselves - let's ban smoking, fox hunting and let feminists launch a totally unfounded attack on men as rapists.
That is the sad state of the UK today. But overwhelmed by their own success with political correctness, the left have something else just as sinister up their sleeve so they can expand their power and control over us even more - the Great Global Warming scam! Same methodology - an idea to appeal to peoples' better nature - let's save the planet - and the same way of enforcing it by peer pressure. Just watch what happens to any scientist who breaks ranks or disagrees - they get the same treatment that Galileo got from the medieval church. David Bellamy was the first I think. It takes a brave man (or a self sufficient one) to come out against these things publicly when you know your future livelihood may be at risk.
Politically correct people can't stand reality or see that things have evolved to be as they are for good reasons. Politically correct people remind me of ostriches - they bury their heads in the sand and then proceed to talk out of the only orifice that still remains above ground.
So don't let anyone fool you that political correctness is just about being "nice to people", tolerant and treating them with proper respect. That's called good manners. Political correctness has been deliberately designed to subvert free speech, debate and common sense, replacing these with a ruthlessly enforced set of left wing ideas. Far from being tolerant, politically correct people are the most intolerant of all people and have the worst manners. They refuse to debate subjects (as their views don't stand up to the most elementary scrutiny), preferring just to scream abuse at you.

PC Lies, Millions Die – Part I

That the U.S. is mired in Political Correctness (PC) is indisputable. If this is not believed, just try and substitute Negro for African-American, chairman for chairperson or, horror of horrors, forget to insert “she” after every “he.” Moreover, save among trusted friends, it is impermissible to tell ethnic jokes, no matter how funny or use stereotypes regardless of accuracy. In a nutshell, today’s political correctness means not upsetting anyone due to their race, ethnicity, gender, physical disability, appearance, accent or anything else that might, somehow, somehow, might cause psychological discomfort.
Most Americans view PC as a nuisance, holding one’s tongue to avoid agitating delicate sensibilities, perhaps akin to Victorian gentlemen describing a chicken’s thigh as “dark meat” lest the delicate ladies at the dinner table faint. PC is certainly a set of linguistic conventions but it is much more, and this “much more” is only recently been recognized. PC is evolving into a deadly plague.
The harm begins when PC morphs from feel-good but harmless euphemisms to injurious lies and in international affairs this can be deadly. Here, PC is the Grim Reaper’s great facilitator. To compound this horrific killing with supposed kindness sin, PC types undoubtedly tolerate the carnage. Who wants to ruin a career by voicing a taboo, even if people die as a result of this “kindness”? Not even the Aztecs could organize human sacrifices on this scale.
Consider earthquake ridden Haiti. Major earthquakes are bad enough but in Haiti they are horrific disasters since the infrastructure is virtually non-existent, the government corrupt and inept, the populace is incapable of caring for itself and if that were insufficient, assistance must overcome violence and looting. In a word: chaos. And earthquakes are not the only deadly killers – a 2004 flood killed 3,000 Haitians while 2008 tropical storms left one million homeless. But, the human consequences of nature’s wrath can differ greatly. An earthquake of identical magnitude struck the San Francisco area in 1989, killing a mere 63 people. In 1995, a much stronger tremor (7.3 vs. 7.0) hit Kobe, Japan and its surrounding area likewise experienced far-reaching destruction, including 6,000 deaths. Still, damage aside, what explains the huge differences in what now transpires in Haiti versus un-chaotic San Francisco and Kobe? All three were severe quakes in dense urban areas, so these key physical characteristics alone cannot explain casualty rates of 63 or 6,000 versus (to date) an estimated 70,000. What separates Port-au-Prince from San Francisco or Kobe?
If one reads that Oracle of PC, the New York Times, politically correct explanations abound. Columnist Bob Herbert (January 16, 2010) quickly rounded up the usual PC suspects: enslavement, murderous colonial oppression, invasion by powerful armies (actually, 300 Marines in 1915), grotesque homegrown tyrants and natural disasters. That the first three of these causes occurred decades, if not centuries, back and the U.S. “invasions” built much of Haiti’s modern infrastructure went unnoticed by Herbert. A more thoughtful, but still PC, analysis is offered by the Times’ “conservative” columnist, David Brooks. He explains the frenzied mayhem with poverty which, like Herbert, he traces to a history of oppression, slavery and colonialism (he also adds a dollop of voodoo and shoddy child-rearing practices to this explanatory mix). To be fair, Brooks acknowledges that that neighboring Dominican Republic and Barbados are better off despite similar historical colonial experiences but somehow, in ways not stated, these centuries-old forces still wreak havoc in Haiti.
A Times op-ed by Tracy Kidder joined the chorus: slavery administered by cruel French masters, often brutal American occupation from 1915 to 1934 and American facilitated misrule by Haitians themselves determined to undermine Haitian constitutional democracy explains today’s catastrophe ( January 14, 2010). Remarkably, she also faults the 10,000 private organizations there who have worked to uplift the Haitians. These groups, she claims, fail to coordinate their efforts and just peruse their own narrow interests. They should instead be strengthening Haiti’s institutions, infrastructure and expertise.
The Times Sunday edition (Weekend Edition, p. 9) offers a potpourri of “helpful” PC-flavored suggestions. President Clinton’s former special envoy to Haiti (James Dobbins) claims that the deadly current situation results from a partisan divide in the U.S. Congress over former elected then disposed President, Jean-Bertrand Aristide. We should forget this distracting debate, says Dobbins, and begin anew pouring money for food and build a new infrastructure. An expert on water correctly attributes many of Haiti’s health problems to unsanitary water and suggests re-building the water system, though he does note that meter readers and bill collectors are routinely assaulted when performing their duties. Ironically, another expert (Robert Neuwirth) defends the stealing of water and electricity since these are “necessities.” He also justifies squatters’ rights, i.e., non-payment of rent, since this, too, is essential for survival. There you have it: capitalism – getting money from the poor – is the root of the violence.
What is remarkable about all these analyses is how they artfully dodge the “blameless” Haitian people. Lying and denial are the accepted, even honored customs: Thou Shall Not Offend. The same Sunday Times supplied advice from former Presidents Clinton and Bush (“W”) and they, too, refuse to acknowledge an awkward reality. Instead they spoke about Haiti’s “commitment” and “determination” to conquer their long-standing problems (while calling for yet more aid). Do they really believe that new-found determination will reverse centuries of mismanagement?
The common theme is that somebody else, e.g., French colonial administrators, U.S. Marines in 1915, not the Haitians themselves, help explain why a 7.0 quake in California kills 63 people versus 70,000 and counting in Haiti. So, it is just a matter of non-Haitians spending more, forcing the 10,000 private aid organization to communicate better, exorcise the demons of slavery, get an apology for foreign invasions, and perhaps as per David Brooks, upgrade Haitian parenting skills and ban voodoo. And if those living in newly built houses refuse to pay rent or water bills, who could blame them?
The real culprit here and in countless other dysfunctional nations is human capital (to use the economist’s sanitized term). It’s the people who screw things up. Why, for example, has once wealthy, food-rich white-run Rhodesia collapsed into the poverty-stricken Zimbabwe? What has prevented African nations like Nigeria swimming in oil money from progressing beyond abject poverty and endless civil war? Do the British secretly oppress the native population while forcing decent democratically elected leaders to pocket foreign assistance? Why must Africa depend on westerners for clean water and cheap anti-malaria medicine? Why have China and Korea prospered despite histories of colonial occupation?
The truth that dare not speak its name, at least in the New York Times, is that some populations are smarter than others, harder working, more apt to delay gratification, less inclined toward hot-tempered violence, more honest, and more likely to place their faith in science than voodoo. Yes, many people mired in mayhem are artistically gifted and charming but they cannot run a modern country. There – elephant in room exposed! Critically, nearly everyone who has looked into variations in national development, including surmounting natural catastrophes, knows this to be true but recognizes these differences openly dooms one’s career. When James Watson, the brilliant co-discover of DNA, suggested that African economic backwardness might be attributable to cognitive insufficiency among sub-Saharan Africans, he was suspended by the Cold Springs Laboratory and raked across the coals. Yet, the hard data here is substantial. Watson had violated the taboo of taboos, and punishment had to be swift and public. (Two distinguished experts on IQ wrote to the Times defending Watson in great detail, but their letter was never published).
What does this mean for future carnage? Simple: so long as PC substitutes for truth the Grim Reaper collects the bodies and the deaths extend far beyond well-publicized earthquakes. To appreciate this plague-like disaster, imagine a totally unPC world. First World nations would tell those wallowing in poverty that since they are not sufficiently competent to run their own countries, Western experts will do it for them. Euphemisms like outsourcing or sub-contracting might be used to minimize embarrassment. This is not handouts or partnerships for these failed states, fragile states and kleptocracies; this is putting competent outsiders in charge. Local leaders, elected and otherwise, would be relegated to well-paid positions unrelated to human life. In Haiti, for example, the U.S. might direct hospitals, the French run telecommunications, the Japanese construct earthquake-proof houses, and Israelis would supervise desperately needed reforestation. Things would, finally, work and, PC handwringing about neo-colonialism aside, the life of ordinary people would improve dramatically. Make no mistake: this vastly improved competency cannot be imposed, it has to be invited; but if it did come to pass, millions of lives would be saved. Tourism and industry would flourish in places like Haiti and Nigeria. This shift “only” entails honesty plus awkwardness in confronting unpleasant realities, but this is a small price to pay. Alas, many “virtuous” pontificators refuse to pay it – better to lie and let people die
Ricci and the Skills Gap
What leads to unequal results between blacks and whites isn’t racism.
The Supreme Court tweaked the edges of discrimination law in its New Haven firefighters decision last week,
but otherwise left the evasions and euphemisms of that hoary edifice largely intact. This is probably as
it should be. It is not for the Court to deconstruct our official legal discourse about race unless it is explicitly asked to do so. But the political branches need not be so constrained. Judge Sonia Sotomayor’s upcoming confirmation hearings are the perfect occasion to question the assumptions that underlie the race industry, since Sotomayor, with her history of launching racism accusations, has been, and promises to remain, an active participant in it.
The main function of the race industry today is to repackage problems of black underachievement as instances of white racism. For decades, the vast majority of alleged discrimination violations have been manifestations of the black-white performance gap, whether in academic achievement, crime rates, or poverty-producing behaviors like illegitimacy and dropping out of school. The race industry cloaks such problems in the language of rights and racism—pushing the achievement gap offstage, keeping alive the phantom of ubiquitous white bias, and generating jobs in the race industry. Thus, employment and educational standards that no one would otherwise think twice about are suddenly viewed as legally suspicious, without any reason to think them flawed except that blacks do not meet them at equal rates.
The New Haven firefighters case, Ricci v. DeStefano, provides a perfect example of how the race industry converts innocuous job practices into markers of hidden bias. As is well known by now, New Haven canceled the results of a 2003 promotional exam for its fire department after no black firefighters scored high enough to be promoted. The successful candidates, 17 whites and one Hispanic, sued the city, claiming that it had discriminated against them on the basis of race. New Haven argued in court that had it promoted the high-scorers, it would probably have been sued by the black test takers for discriminating against them with an apparently biased test. Thus, it was justified in nullifying the entire process to avoid liability for discriminating against blacks, the city maintained.
Ricci raises questions about the use of race in decision-making—especially in government decision-making that have simmered within discrimination law for years. Does a race-conscious remedy for alleged discrimination against one group, for example, discriminate against another? Does the effort to craft a selection method that produces a racially proportionate result constitute impermissible discrimination? When does the effort to avoid allegedly discriminating against one group become discrimination against another?
Such questions occupy constitutional-law theorists endlessly, and for good reason, since they implicate the core constitutional value of color-blind equal protection before the law. In Ricci, the majority predictably finessed them with the familiar judicial tactic of crafting an evidentiary standard, holding that an employer could take a race-conscious action that discriminates against one group—in this case, the successful candidates for fire department promotion—only if it finds a “strong basis in evidence” to believe that it would face liability from another group if it failed to take that action. But the Court avoided the more basic question raised by the case: Why was the exam being discussed in terms of race and discrimination at all? The New York Times’s Supreme Court reporter, Linda Greenhouse, wrote in an op-ed that the exam “appeared to favor white test-takers.” It did nothing of the sort. It merely favored those who had studied hard and prepared themselves to become captains and lieutenants. But we have been conditioned by the decades-long reign of disparate-impact theory, which the black firefighters would have used in a potential suit against New Haven, to discuss neutral employment practices in racial terms and to entertain the idea that the expectation of moderate cognitive performance is an unfair imposition on blacks.
Arguments offered by New Haven against its own promotional test—embraced, disturbingly, by nearly half of the Supreme Court—demonstrate how desperate the search for bias has become. New Haven pointed out that
the exam asked test takers to show “how they would address a particular problem [by] verbally saying it
or identifying the correct option on a written test,” in the words of a rival test developer; the city’s implication was that any expectation that someone be able to use language to express ideas would be unfair to blacks. New Haven also objected that the test’s final results were based on a 60–40 weighting of a written and an oral exam, a formula that the department had used for two decades. This objection is purely ad hoc; had the weighting been 40–60, the race advocates would have been just as adamant that it was unfair. Nothing in the record suggests that a different weighting would have changed the pass rate. New Haven’s general counsel further complained that the exam tested the “ability to memorize textbooks but not necessarily to identify solutions to real problems on the fire ground.” But memorizing information is a key mechanism of learning, without which little knowledge is possible. To the extent that the lieutenant and captains’ jobs require the acquisition of additional knowledge, conveying and testing that knowledge in written form is perfectly reasonable. None of these features of the exam would have been considered the least bit problematic if blacks had not performed poorly.
The final charge against the exam is the most desperate of all. Janet Helms, a professor of clinical psychology at Boston College and author of such works as A Race Is a Nice Thing to Have: A Guide to Being A White Person or Understanding the White Persons in Your Life speculated to the city’s civil-service board that black firefighters in New Haven may have developed their own unique, black way of fighting fires in response to unequal opportunity on the job. The portrait of firefighting that the test developer used in drawing up the test might have been biased toward the “white” way of firefighting in New Haven, Helms continued, since two-thirds of the firefighters who submitted analyses of their jobs to the test developer were white. Helms had no knowledge of firefighting, had refused to review the promotional exam, and had sought no exposure to the New Haven Fire Department. She provided not one shred of evidence to support any plank of her theory—which makes her superlatively representative of the race industry.
In light of such fantastical speculations, it is worth reviewing New Haven’s efforts to ensure that the test measured the requisite supervisory skills and did not contain any possible hypothetical bias. The test developer interviewed and rode alone with the department’s chiefs, lieutenants, and captains to identify the knowledge and abilities essential for the positions of captain and lieutenant. At every point, the test developer oversampled minority firefighters while building his portrait of the job. The 100 questions on the written exam were pitched below a tenth-grade reading level. Each of the three-man assessment panels for the oral exam was composed of one white, one black, and one Hispanic firefighter. Third-party reviewers confirmed that the oral exam accurately tested the real-world situations confronting supervisors.
Perhaps in implicit recognition that the case for bias in the New Haven exam was laughably weak, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg pulled out the usual race-industry trump card in her dissent: historical discrimination. The majority opinion, she said, “leaves out important parts of the story”—to wit, that firefighting “is a profession in which the legacy of racial discrimination casts an especially long shadow.” It’s no surprise that Ginsburg never bothered explicating her metaphor, because she provided no evidence, apart from the allegedly biased test itself, of how the “long shadow” affects the New Haven Fire Department today. We are just supposed to assume that because firefighting was inhospitable to blacks four decades ago, it remains so now, and that such inhospitality prevents blacks from succeeding on promotional exams. (Past discrimination against Jews by the Ivy Leagues may also be said to cast “an especially long shadow,” yet it has had no noticeable effect on their performance today.)
The Court’s majority and minority opinions are assiduously silent about the only reason why anyone views the New Haven firefighters’ exam through the lens of race at all: the gap in cognitive attainment between blacks and whites. As Stuart Taylor pointed out in his National Journal blog, the average black high school senior possesses the academic skills and knowledge of an average white eighth-grader. For decades, blacks have scored 200 points below whites and Asians on the verbal and math SATs. This skills gap means that it is virtually impossible to devise any job test that measures mastery of a body of knowledge and cognitive expertise that will not have a disparate racial result. To discuss black underperformance on any given task without mentioning the skills deficit is like having a discussion about rain and drought without mentioning cloud formation. As long as black underachievement remains unacknowledged, the old standby—racism will always rush into the vacuum as an explanation for disparate impact.
This ongoing taboo, in judicial discourse and elsewhere, suggests certain questions for Sotomayor during her confirmation hearings. Does she believe that it is unfair to expect minorities to display knowledge through the use of language, and if so, why? In light of the black-white achievement gap, why should disparate results on a cognitive test create any presumption of bias? What kinds of exams would be fair to blacks? Does it lie within the power of minorities to start achieving at higher rates by staying in school, studying harder, and paying more attention in class? We have heard repeatedly about the studying marathon engaged in by the lead plaintiff in the firefighters case, Frank Ricci. None of the many advocates charging bias in the New Haven firefighters’ exam has produced any examples of black firefighters’ expending anywhere near Ricci’s eight to 13 hours a day of preparation. Presumably, if such cases existed, we would have heard about them by now. Is it possible that if more black firefighters had devoted as much effort to studying as the successful candidates did, they would have done better on the exam?
It will take more than one judicial confirmation hearing to overcome our evasions about today’s most pressing racial problems. But those problems won’t get solved until we break the monopoly on explanations for black underperformance that the race industry currently enjoys.

·The Negro has a larger and shorter neck akin to that of anthropoids.
·The cranial sutures are more simple than in the white type and close together earlier.
·The ears are roundish, rather small, standing somewhat high and detached thus approaching the simian form.
·The Negro is more powerfully developed from the pelvis down and the white more powerfully developed in the chest.
·The jaw is larger and stronger and protrudes outward which, along with lower retreating forehead, gives a facial angle of 68 to 70 degrees as opposed to a facial angle of 80 to 82 degrees for Europeans.
·The hands and fingers are proportionally narrower and longer. The wrist and ankles are shorter and more robust.
·The frontal and paricial bones of the cranium are less excavated and less capacious. The skull is thicker especially on the sides.
·The brain of the Negro on the average is 9 to 20% smaller than whites.
·The teeth are larger and are wider apart than in the white race.
·The three curvatures of the spine are less pronounced in the Negro than in the white and thus more characteristic of an ape.
·The femur of the Negro is less oblique, the tibia (shin bone) more curved and bent forward, the calf of the leg high and but little developed.
·The heel is broad and projecting, the foot long and broad but slightly arched causing flat soles, the great toe is shorter than in the white.
·The two bones proper of the nose are occasionally united, as in apes.
Fact 30: Blood group studies made during WWII suggest the American Negro gene pool is about 28% white. ‑‑This despite all manner of institutional discrimination, social segregation, etc. Keep in mind that the results of test from true Black Africans would show even bigger differences from Whites. Using standard ethnographic files from 51 societies on five continents which have recorded their preference for human skin color, the study found that 30 preferred lighter women and 14 preferred lighter women and lighter men. The cultures of India, China, Brazil and Bali, as well as the Arabs and Negroes regard the lightest women as the most beautiful; perpetuating the aesthetic appeal of the ivory‑ skinned, rosy‑cheeked, blue‑eyed, blond "nordic ideal" of feminine beauty, even though they themselves do not possess the genetic capacity to reproduce such an organism. Over time, the study said, the upper classes of all races have become lighter‑skinned than their fellow countrymen because they have repeatedly skimmed off fairer women from the lower classes. ` Fact 50: The 14th Amendment is invalid for the following reasons:
· It was never ratified by three‑fourth of all the States in the Union according to Article 5 of the U.S. Constitution. Out of 37 States, 16 had rejected it.
· Many of the States who were counted as ratifying it, were compelled to do so under duress of military occupation. Any legal act entered into under force duress, and coercion is automatically null and void.
· The fact that 23 Senators had been unlawfully excluded from the U.S. Senate, shows that the Joint Resolution proposing the Amendment was not submitted to or adopted by a constitutional Congress.
· The intent of the 14th Amendment is repugnant to the original U.S. Constitution and the Organic Law of the land. It did not, and could not, repeal anything that was part of the Organic Law. Fact 52: Lincoln actually proposed an amendment to the constitution that would've authorized congress to recolonize all freed Blacks back to Africa. Portugal:
Fact 54: Populated by White stock, the nation of Portugal rose in four centuries to be the wealthiest most powerful country in the world. A great commercial and maritime power, it had large colonies in Asia, Africa, and America. Its seamen were the first to explore western Africa and they brought back hundreds of Negro slaves. By 1550, at the height of Portugal's power, one‑tenth of its population were Blacks. Today, Portugal's population is described as one of the most homogeneous in Europe, having slowly absorbed the Negro gene pool. As of l975 it had lost all of its outside territories. Its workers are the lowest paid in Europe and they have the highest rate of illiteracy and a high infant mortality rate. In terms of art, literature, music, science and philosophy the "new" Portugal has produced virtually nothing in 100 years and by most standards is the most backward nation in Europe. *Keep in mind that the Black population of the U.S. is approximately 13%. Fact 55: The Republic of Haiti, the only completely Black republic in the Western Hemisphere also happens to be the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. It also has the lowest life expectancy, highest illiteracy, lowest per capita consumption of newsprint, lowest per capita GNP, and the lowest level of political stability. Fact 56: Haiti once had a promising future. Before 1789 as a French colony under White rule, San Domingo (Haiti) was as rich or richer in productivity as all the 13 American Colonies combined. It was considered the "crown jewel" of the French colonial system, and was in fact the most prosperous colony anywhere in the world. Populated by 40,000 Whites, 27,000 freed Mulattoes, and 450,000 Black slaves and with a bountiful climate and productive soil, it supplied all of France and half of Europe with sugar, coffee, and cotton. But in 1791, the French government issued a decree ordering Haiti to give the vote to the Mulattoes, and soon after another ordering freedom for all the slaves. This resulted in a bloody civil war in which the entire White population (about 40,000 Frenchmen) was murdered, down to the last man, woman, and child. Rape, decapitation, and mutilation were committed almost universally upon their bodies. Fact 57: After the Blacks massacred the last of the White population in 1804, Haiti remained a part of Santa Domingo, until 1844 when it became a separate "republic." Between 1844 and 1915 only one Haitian president completed his term in office. Fourteen were ousted by armed uprisings, one was blown up, one was poisoned and another was hacked to pieces by a mob. Between 1908 and 1915 the revolutions and assassinations increased so rapidly that a United States military occupation was needed to restore order. This lasted from 1915 to 1934. Thereafter followed twelve years of rule by a Mulatto elite which ended in the resumption of control by the Black military in 1946. Fact 58: India's Negroid peoples have been subjected to numerous White invasions for over 5000 years, prompting the rise and fall of one civilization after another as the White invaders became absorbed into the non‑White masses. Fact 63: But, about 3400 B.C. Egypt civilization began to spread up the Nile River, bringing it in close contact with the black Nubians to the south. Soon they were using Blacks for slave labor and Egypt became history's first melting pot. (39) (10) (14)
Fact 64: In time the infusion of Negro blood worked itself up from the bottom of Egyptian society. The slaves were eventually freed, received political equality, and took posts of authority in government. (10) (37)
Fact 65: By the time of King Tut (1370‑1352 B.C.) even the ruling classes had been Mongrelized and Egypt began a tailspin downward. The absurd notion that Ancient Egypt was a product of Negro ingenuity is now being widely disseminated in the schools. Though scholars know this is a blatant lie, they justify the deception by assuming it will boost the "self esteem" of Black children.
South Africa: (Note: These facts will most likely change drastically now that South Africa has fallen under black rule.)
Fact 66: White people have lived in South Africa much longer than Negroes. There have been White settlements in South Africa for over 300 years, about the same length of time Europeans have lived in North America. Even 150 years after the first colonies around Capetown, at the beginning of the 19th Century, there still were no Blacks within 500 miles. The Blacks wandered in from central Africa later on, possibly fleeing the slave trade or due to famine. In fact, most of South Africa's Blacks were born in other countries. (29) (8) (14)
Fact 67: South Africa is by far the wealthiest and most advanced country in Africa, producing nearly 75% of the continent's Gross National Product. It is almost completely self sufficient so boycotts have little affect upon its economy. In fact most of Africa is dependent upon South Africa. South Africa is governed by a Western parliamentary republic and strictly segregated racially. South Africa grants complete self government to the Blacks in their own areas of the country. Fact 68: Though South Africa is perpetually criticized by the world press for its racial separatism, its Blacks live better than the Blacks of any other African country and are multiplying rapidly and healthily. 87% of Black welfare costs are being paid by the White man. Fact 69: Thousands of South African Blacks graduate from college every year, more than three times as many as in the rest of Africa combined. Every Black child is within walking distance of a primary school. Africa's largest hospital, which serves Blacks almost exclusively and performs over 1800 operations per month, is in South Africa. Fact 70: The Blacks of South Africa own more cars than do all the citizens of the Soviet Union. (29)
Fact 71: South Africa has more Black doctors, lawyers, professional people, and millionaires than all of the rest of the world combined. (8)

Iceland
Fact 73 Iceland, the only all White nation in the world, has the world's highest literacy rate. 100%. It is an island of cooled volcanic magma, located Just south of the Arctic Circle. It has no coal, no fuel, no timber, no mineral wealth or natural resources, and no navigable rivers. 75% of the interior is uninhabitable and only about 1% of the land is arable. It is the youngest nation in Europe and one of the most isolated countries in the world. Nonetheless, Iceland is #2 in the world in life expectancy and has one of the world's highest standards of living, in terms of per capita income. It has tremendous medical facilities and a thriving publishing business. Virtually every family has a telephone. Upon graduation from high school, each Icelandic student has learned five languages.
Martin Luther King
Fact 75 On Jan. 31, 1977, Martin Luther King's FBI records were sealed by court order until the year 2027 because, as his wife said, "its release would destroy his reputation" These records are rumored to contain instances of bizarre sexual perversion and homosexuality, and proof that King was under the direct orders of Soviet spies and financed by the Communist Party.
Fact 78: The Wall Street Journal (Nov.9, 1990) disclosed that Stanford University editors of The Papers of Martin Luther King Jr. have long known that King was guilty of plagiarism in his l955 Boston University doctoral thesis, having lifted significant portions from the works of other writers and graduate students.
Fact 79: Martin Luther King frequently enjoyed prostitutes and paid for them with his church's money. Still, congress has voted to make King's birthday a national holiday, in most places replacing Columbus Day or Washington's Birthday as an official observance.
Fact 80: Almost every state in the union has a King holiday, and almost every city has a King Boulevard or King Civic Center. Yet the electoral evidence suggests that Americans will almost always vote down honors for King when given a chance. (41)

Fact 89 In l950, American schools were among the best in the world. However, vocal elements within our society demanded that the public schools take on a social engineering role as well as an educational one. Violent disruptions of American education were ordered by the Supreme Court for the purpose of breaking down racial barriers. For 30 years, American schools have diverted enormous resources into forced integration, quotas, and bussing operations. (Few people realize how expensive bussing is. Annual cost may run into tens of billions of dollars. In l990 California alone was spending $500 million per year on integration. Many school districts spend a quarter or more of their budgets on transportation. In Milwaukee alone and in a single school year, 30,000 staff hours were diverted into calculating the race of students to attend the various schools.) The results? Today's students rank at the very bottom worldwide in science and math, some 40% of American adults are functionally illiterate, and standardized test scores have declined steadily for both Whites and Blacks. Today the average White still scores 200 points higher on the combined SAT than the average Black. Americans spend more on education than any other country in the world and have the worst results. Massive White flight to escape racial zoning has reduced the tax base of every major American city. In l983, after nearly two generations of racial experimentation to promote equality, the research arm of the Dept. of Education could not produce a single study that showed Black children were learning appreciably better after desegregation. Immigration and crime in Britain: An Overview
Official figures from the Justice Ministry in Britain show that at least 11 percent of all prisoners in jail in mid-2008 were Muslim — a striking indication of that community’s grossly disproportionate participation in crime in Britain.
In May 2003, Chris Fox, president of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) told The Observer that “the mass movement of people around the world had brought new levels of organised crime, with drug dealing, gun offences, prostitution and kidnapping.”
“Mass migration has brought with it a whole new range and a whole new type, from the Nigerian fraudster . . . to the Jamaican concentration in drug dealing . . . if you go into some of the cities, looking at the North, Bradford simmers, Blackburn simmers. It doesn’t take much to disturb the balance, and I think we’ve got to be very careful to make sure that we’re not overwhelming our current infrastructure.”
After the conviction of Danny and Ricky Preddie, the Jamaican murderers of black youth Damilola Taylor, an article by Minette Marrin in The Sunday Times of August 2006 pointed out that: “The government has been either unwilling or unable to control, or even to estimate the vast numbers of new arrivals. Only now is it beginning to wonder whether this influx was an entirely good thing. At the time of Damilola’s death the ethnic composition of north Peckham in Southwark, where the estate (where he died) lies, was 43.4% white, 15.9% black Caribbean, 26.6% black African, 4.1% black other, 7.9% Asian and 2.2% other . . . Southwark today is still considered a high crime area by the Home Office and a high youth crime area
. . . Violent crime there has risen from 10,000 incidents in 2000–01 to 12,500 in 2005–06, even though
huge sums of money have been thrown at the problem.”
In the second edition of The Oxford Handbook of Criminology (1997), David J. Smith writes: “The rate of imprisonment for drugs offences was 10.8 times as high among blacks as among white men.”
The high crime rate among black immigrants in Britain has traditionally been ‘excused’ by allegations of ‘discrimination and police bias.’ This is, of course, nonsense. David Smith dealt with the topic this way: “Although some bias against black people has been demonstrated at several stages, and although some apparently neutral criteria have been shown to work to the disadvantage of black people, the magnitude of these effects seems small compared with the stark contrast in rates of arrest and imprisonment between black and white people.”
The Third Edition of the Handbook of Criminology (2002) shows Home Office statistics of the male prison population by ethnic group, 1985–99. In 1999, the number of white males in prisons was 49,961, the number of black males was 7,355, the number of South Asians was 1,895, and the number of Chinese and other was 2,081.
In the same handbook, Coretta Philips and Ben Bowling make the following observation: “Ethnic monitoring data on Britain’s prison population have been available since 1985. The first statistics revealed a marked over-representation of West Indians, Guyanese, and Africans within prisons among both males and females.”
North African, African, and Caribbean youth gangs are responsible for the rising incidence of group rapes.
The victims are overwhelmingly white women. Scotland Yard reported: “Suspects of African and Caribbean
appearance were identified in 49 percent of attacks. A further 13 percent were committed by men of Indian/Pakistani appearance.”
In England, gang rapes and “jack rolling” (gangs of youths in cars block off streets and rape every woman caught in their net) were introduced into Britain by young blacks from Jamaica and South Africa.
